Mhairi Black is the youngest (20) SNP MP and, in her maiden speech on 15th July appealed for cooperation with the Labour Party in opposing Tory government policies. Her speech covered benefit sanctions, the budget and Labour’s proposed abstention on the Government’s welfare and work bill. Here are the main highlights (for me) of the speech:
